Make-up Haul 2

So here's what I bought the second time.
There was a sale at the Trekpleister, 50% off of all make-up!
So I bought a lot.
I saved more than 20 euro's , great deal huh!?

*Catrice Soft Eye Shadow Mono 120 Chili Chocolate
*Catrice Soft Eye Shadow Duo 200 Salt & Pepper
*Catrice Kajal Designer 130 Bright Violet
*Catrice Kajal Designer 100 Tropical Green

Needless to say, I'm a big fan of Catrice cosmetics.

I haven't tried everything yet, but I have tried the lip glosses Secret Mauve and Ocean Sunset, and I love them.
I haven't worn Ocean Sunset a lot, but it's a great lip gloss for summer.
Secret Mauve I call my Angelina Jolie lip gloss because it makes my lips look a lot fuller and it's a colour Angelina would wear.
I also tried the Eye Shadows Vanilla Cream and Moonstone.
They combine great, but I also love to wear Moonstone all by itself.
I really love Moon Stone.

The rest of the make-up I will test when I've completed the move from my mom's house to my own appartment!

Love,

Freya

My Eyeko Package :D

I received my Eyeke Packaage 2 weeks ago :D.
It was well packaged and everything looked awesome.
There was just one problem, they forgot to include some products that I ordered!
I ordered the Magic Set (that's the Magic Mascara + the Magic Eye Liner).
So I contacted them saying some products were missing, and the next day I got an email from Eyeko saying that they were sorry, they will send me the missing items, and if I would let them know when the package has arrived.
I think their customer service is really good.

Anyway, here's what I got:

From left to right:
-Cosmic Polish
-Indigo Polish
-Lilac Polish
-Nude Polisj
-Vampira Polish
-Vintage Polish
-Raspberry Fat Balm

I haven't tried the nail polishes yet, but I think they look good.
The Raspberry Fatbalm I did try, and I loved it!
It smells very nice, like raspberries and makes my lips a natural dan bit dark raspberry colour.
The Fat Balm also hydrates my lips well, and I really had not expected that.

The Fat Balm I got for free, but when I've used it up I think I will order a new one, and possibly the strawberry one as well!

I will do a real review (with LOTD/swatch) later.
And I will let you know when I receive the Magic Set.

What do you think of Eyeko?

Freya

Kitty Cat Spam!!!

I uploaded some pics from my camera to my mac book today, and amongst them were some really cute pics of my cats :D.
So naturally I had to post them here!

This is Poesje, my sweet girl (offical name is Otchi, but we call her Poesje because it's easier).

And this is Poekie (my younger brother named him), he is my mom's cat.

Aren't they cute???

Make-up Haul 1 (+ reviews and swatches)

I've done some shopping the last few weeks, but I was extremely busy, so I couldn't find the time to write a blog about them.
I moved all my furniture and most of my stuff on saturday, so now I have more time to blog :D.

This is what I got at a Dutch drugstore called Trekpleister:

*Catrice Blush Brush
*Catrice ...
*Catrice Lip Gloss 140 Melon Red
*Catrice Lip Gloss 150 Soft Apricot

I really love the lip glosses, especially ... , I've been wearing that one a lot!

Swatches of the lipglosses:

The swatches aren't that great.
The darkest one looks brown here, though it's more of a glittery orange.
It's not extremely opaque, more sheer and it complements my skin tone very well.
It also makes my lips look fuller (yay).
The lighter one is a light salmon colour that looks very sweet on the lips.
Since it's sheer it looks very good, if it was opaque it would have looked bad.
I will post same LOTD (lips of the day) of these lip glosses, as soon as I find out how I can photograph them wel.

I haven't tried the nail polish yet, so I don't know how I feel about that one yet, but I bet it's good!

I'm not a big fan of blusher, but I do like to use the blusher brush to put powder on my face and it works well for that purpose.

Have you tried some of these products?
Leave a comment if you have.

Contemporary music

At the moment there's a specific style of top 40 music that's very trendy.
It fast and with a lot of effects made by computers, and usually includes weird dances and crazy outfits.

The Queen of this type of music is undoubtedly Lady Gaga!!!

Three of her most popular songs (and songs I surprisingly like as well, though I didn't think I would).

Lady Gaga - Bad Romance

This song is obviously about a bad break up, something most of us can relate to.
However, most of us don't murder the person that caused our heart to break.
The music and the outfits are a bit futuristic, sometimes she almost completely covered and sometimes almost naked.
Her outfits can look really tough but sometimes also romantic and sweet.
What I like about this video clip, is that she also shows a vulnerable part of herself, not just the tough Gaga we see in the rest of the clip.

Lady Gaga - Paparazzi

The first thing I noticed about this one, is that there's a whole movie-like story to this clip, and I like that the guy that plays Eric Northman in the tv-show True Blood (Alexander Skarsgard) plays the guy.
Sadly he plays a jackass, but still.
I think this is a sad clip; once again she can't trust the one she loves, and feels she should kill him before he kills her.
I think Gaga has some relationship and trust issues.
I mean, I had bad break ups (a lot actually) but I never felt compelled to murder, just saying!
Paparazzi has a better sound to it than Bad Romance, so I actually really like to listen to this song,
The song is honest and she is vulnerable (for a part at least).
She just wants to be loved and be safe in someone's arms.

On the other hand, this song is also about the nasty phenomenon called paparazzi!
It's about the paparazzi that are obsessed with the stars the need to shoot pics of.
They stalk and chase them and befriend them; they are their biggest fans and don't know where to draw the line.
The paparazzi really changes the life of stars in the USA.
Stars can't go anywhere without being seen, nothings private, and the stars and the people they are surrounded with behave differently because of the paparazzi.
The shield the real them because nothings private, or they go to great lengths to be chased by the paps and get into the magazines.
Sometimes they do both.
The complain that nothing's private, but at the same time they use it at their advantage, they like it because it makes them famous.

Last, but not least:

Lady Gaga featuring Beyonce - Telephone

This song once again has a revenge and murder theme.
Bee's boyfriend breaks up with her or something, so they murder him AND everyone else in the cafeteria.
This song has a opposite statements and feelings, just like Bad Romance and Paparazzi.
In Bad Romance she wants revenge on the bloke, but she also wants to kill him; in Paparazzi she want's someone to trust and peace from the paps, but she's also willing to trow away love and privacy to be famous.
In this music video, Telephone, she wants her other half to pay more attention to her and not to ditch her, but it also sounds like she wants him to back off and stop calling, since she wants some peace and quiet.
Like I said: opposite emotions and thoughts!
I do like the movie-style video, this one reminds me of Thelma & Louise, Bonny * Clyde (though I'm not sure if there's a movie about it) and mostly about the movie "Natural Born Killers".

I like her songs, outfits and music video's, because she's edgy, but I also hate the fact that revenge and murder is such and important theme in her music video's.
She's setting a bad example for people, especially youth.
This shows them, that when you don't like how someone treats you (boyfriend or anyone else) you should just kill them.
It doesn't value life.

Miley Cyrus has also been getting more edgy and grown-up (even though she's only 16).
She has been out-growing her Hanna Montana image for a while, donning sexy, minimal clothes and dancing sexy.
She's also dating an older guy, and there is footage of her giving the directer (or someone like that) of her last movie, a lap dance *shock*.
That seems hardly appropriate for a regular woman/girl, let alone someone her age.
Giving a lap dance in public is simple raunchy and not at al classy.
Lap dances should only be given in strip clubs and in private bedrooms.
Anyway, she's got a new song called "Can't Be Tamed".

Miley Cyrus - Cant Be Tamed

I like that the video is raw, and I like the bird theme.
The big, realistic wings that she has in the beginning and the end of the video are amazing.
I think she acts well especially in the beginning.
Whe she gets out of the nest and looks at the crowd she has this look in her eyes that's fierce and wild, she seems just so grown up in this vid.
This video portrays her completely different from what her image used to be (sweet and girly and young), but now she looks bitchy and like a woman, like a grown up.
I think the bird theme is refreshing, but I do hope she will not keep this wild thing up from now on, just this song.
I like the song and I've played it a lot already.

I have also heard about a American singer called Kesha.
She is supposed to be this hot new thing, so I though I should check what the hype was about.
It turns out it was about bad taste!!!
She's just some trailer-trash chick and though there's nothing wrong with being trailer-trash, there's definitely something wrong with her.
She really doesn't have much of a message besides: "I like to party, being drunk and completely wasted and I'm undoubtedly out of my mind."
I think the music is really useless, the songs are really boring and the message is just wrong.

Kesha - Tick Tock

Great song huh!?
I'm being sarcastic off course.
It has a catchy beat but that's all.
She even sings like she's drunk, weird.
The youth in the USA seems to love her and this song, I think that shows how messed up a lot of youngsters are these days.
I like to party to, sometimes, but I never felt like being drunk and wasted (so I never got past tipsy) and I don't like black-outs or wasting my time like this.
Life is about so much more, which Kesha (and American youth with her) obviously doesn't get.

Kesha - Blah Blah Blah

This song is just as much Blah Blah Blah as the song says.
I like part of the message though, guys really do a lot of Blah Blah Blah so she's right about that, but in the song she doesn't care about talking at all, only about sex.
And the song really sucks.
It's mainly noise and I got a headache by listening to it.

Kesha - Your Love Is My Drug

I actually DO like this song!
It's about a love obsession, which is actually a normal thing to sing about.
I also like the song and the way she sings (especially the refrain).
Still there are some crazy elements in the song (I guess she can't be completely normal) like hoping to hit her head against the wall *raises eyebrows*.
I guess I really do not understand/get her but I do like this song.
The last line is quite funny btw, she says "I like your beard." how random is that *laughs*.

Anyway, I guess this is the music I checked out and how I feel about it.
I should probably watch MTV once in a while, so I know what's playing these days.

Have a nice sunday,

Freya

Review: The Body Shop: Sweet Lemon Body Scrub

I got a sample of this at my local The Body Shop store, and decided to use it when I took a bath this week.

Ingredients: Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Sucrose, Sodium Chloride, Helianthus Annuus Hybrid Oil, Silica, Citrus Medica Limonum Seed Oil, Glycerine Soja Oil, Limonene, Bertholletia Excelsa Seed Oil, Parfum, Citrus Medica Limonum Peel, Juglans Regia Shell Powder, Citral, Cl 19140.

Scent: I'm not usually a big fan of lemon scents, I mean they are ok, but nothing special, this one however I really liked.
It was fresh and zesty, summery and cheerful.
It smelled like I was rubbing actual lemons and lemon peels on my skin and I found that to be a very natural experience.
After use, the scent doesn't linger well.
First it turns a bit musty and then it's mostly gone.
I think I'll go get a sample of the body butter, because if the smell stays when using the body butter, I'll get a jar for summer, since I really love it (though I never thought I would).

I had never used a TBS scrub before, and this one did not disappoint.
It isn't a very coarse scrub, but it still manages to make my skin smooth.
I tried it on my knees and elbows, and they were considerably softer after use.
I think the oils really hydrated my skin, but they didn't make my skin oily.
Not that I mind oilyness after scrubbing, but it's nice to not always use an oily scrub.
Since this scrub isn't oily, it's also suitable for people who don't like oily scrubs.

Verdict: Not very coarse scrub, that scrubs very well nevertheless, it makes skin hydrated and soft without being very greasy, smells very realistically lemony during use, but smell fades fast afterwards.
I don't know If I will buy the scrub again, maybe in a different scent.
Will try to get a hold of a sample of the Sweet Lemon Body Butter

Have you tried anything of the Sweet Lemon line yet?
Any thoughts?

Review: Yves Rocher: Jardins Du Monde Deodorant with Lotus Flower

A few months ago I ordered a few of these, since I've used this deodorant before and I liked it.

Ingredients:Aqua, Aluminum Chlorohydrate, PPG-15 Stearyl Ether, Steareth-2, Perfume, Nelumbo Nucifera, Steareth-28, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Linalool, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Hydroxycitronellal, Limonene, Hexyl Cinnamal.

It smells light and flowery (like lotus flowers) , the fragrance is mild.
It keeps me fresh as long as I don't work out or sweat a lot and wear to much clothes.
It's easy to apply (and re-apply when necessary) and dries quick without staining skin or clothes.
This one also hydrates your skin and makes your armpits soft.

I like roller deo's much better than sprays, since sprays usually contain a lot of alcohol, are very irritating and don't seem to work as well on me.

Prize: When not on sale it costs 3,70 euros for 50 ml, but on sale I usually pay 1,85 euros which is an absolute bargain!!!

Verdict: Nice deo, smells nice and flowery, works well, though not amazing, easy to apply and cheap.

I'll definately buy these again!!!

So what kind of deo do you use?
Roller, stick, creme or spray?

Review: Rituals: Honey Touch Body Créme

A while ago I got a sample of Rituals Honey Touch Body Créme and this week I finally used it.

Ingredients: The website doesn't have an accurate list of all the ingredients in the products.
All they say about the ingredients in this product, is that it contains Indian Rose and Himalayan Honey.

It smells like honey and vanilla to me.
The longer I had it on my skin, the more it smelled like vanilla, not like honey.
The honey smell wasn't very strong and I think that's too bad, since I adore honey.
It still smelled great though, like vanilla and something sweet and fresh that reminded me of honeydew melon and it reminded me a bit of a Bpal scent called "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Bat" (though that also has grapes and lemon in it).
The fragrance is nice but not overly strong, it's refreshingly mild.

Honety Touch made my skin very smooth and soft (it probably has silicones in it) and that felt nice.

Price: 14,90 euro's for 200ml which is a normal price.

Verdict: Smells nice, though very different from what I expected, makes my skin soft and smooth.
May consider purchasing a jar in the future.

Have you tried any products by Rituals?
Any faves?

Review: Villainess : Raspberry Swirl Smooch!

I used the last of my Raspberry Swirl Smooch! by Villainess a few weeks ago, but I couldn't find the time to write a review until now.

Ingredients:
Sucrose (Sugar), Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter, Cetearyl Alcohol (and) Polysorbate 60, Prunus (Cherry) Kernel Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Fragrance, Rubus Idaeus (Raspberry) Fruit Powder, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Meat Powder.

Raspberry Swirl is supposed to smell like raspberry and vanilla, which sounds very nice.
Sadly, it didn't smell very nice at all.
It smelled extremely sweet in a disgusting way (like artificial sweeteners), and I din't smell the vanilla at all.
To me it smelled exactly like a Raspberry smoothie from the brand Optimel tasted.
It was filled to the brim with raspberries, dairy and a truck load of artificial sweeteners, and I thought it was disgusting!

The Raspberry Swirl Smooch! might have been spoiled since the seal was broken, so I got a refund from Alice & Jo (they have great service!!!)
Luckily the scrubbing properties were great, so I did use up the whole pot.
This wasn't a very sticky scrub.
The texture was a bit like Smashing Smooch! and reminds me of moist cake.
It scrubs well but not very harsh.
It does the job but I don't mind a scrub that's harsher than this one (like Ginger Snapped Smooch! for example, I LOVE that one).
After scrubbing I put some water on the scrub and scrub and lather it all over my body before washing it off.
I pat my skin dry and use Body Lotion.
I bought this scrub to combine with my Raspberry Shower Gel from Yves Rocher and my Artemis Cream Body Lotion from Lush.
It combined very well and my skin smelled great and felt very soft afterwards.

Verdict: Smells gross, but it might have been spoiled.
Scrubs well, but could have been better, hydrates well and makes skin soft and smooth.

Won't buy this one again because of the smell.
I will continue to buy Villainess's smooches however!

Lush Offical Discon List

Yes, it's back, the dreaded discon list!
Sadly, each year some products have to go for different reasons.
Sometimes they have to make room for new products, or they get replaced by an inproved version, or there are problems with the ingredients, etc.

Anyway, here's the list:

-Happy Pill (Bath Ballistic)
-Supernova (Bath Ballistic)
-Q10 Toner Tab
-Mirror Mirror (neck and cleavage cream)
-Razorantium (Shaving Cream)
-Shave The Planet (Shaving Cream)
-Tramp (Shower Gel)
-Yummy Yummy Yummy (Shower Gel)
-Crash Course In Skin Care (Fresh Face Mask)
-Candy Fluff Dusting Powder
-Karma Dusting Powder
-I Should Coco Soap
-Hard Shampoo Bar
-Soft Shampoo Bar
-It's A Wrap Gift

If you have favourites that are on this list, you better buy some extra soon, since they might be sold out forever in just a few days.

Mirror Mirror is being replaced with Lovely Jubblies, a cream for your neck, cleavage and boobies, which is better than Mirror Mirror.
It does smell different though.
Mirror Mirror smells like Fever Massage Bar and Lovely Jubblies smells like orange blossom.
I liked the smell of Mirror Mirror, but I don't think I would like the smell of Lovely Jubblies, since I hate the smell of orange blossem.
Also, a neck cream would be useful for me, but a boobie cream wouldn't be useful at all.
They are very firm and they only need some body lotion (Lush ofcourse).
However, if you DO need a boobie cream, and you like the smell of orange blossom, Lovely Jubblies might be just right for you!

Are any of your favourites on the list?
None of mine are, thankfully.
I did want to try Supernova, so I got 2 through swaps a few months ago and I still would like to try the Q10 Toner Tabs, because I think they would suit my skin perfectly.
If they are still on the UK website next time I place an order, I think I will order some.

I hope you all have a nice day, even though you might be freaking out over the discon list and may be ordering like mad (I know I have in the past *shame*).

New Lush Products

In the last few weeks, Lush has been adding new products to their line up.
I think it' time for me to write about them.

The New Products

*Grass Shower Gel

I'm amazingly curious about how this will smell *jumps up and down*.
Will it smell like actual fresh mown grass or just like a very amazing green blend of things that can't be recognised in the blend (Lush perfumers have awesome blending ability!)???
I like Tramp, which is also a green Lush Shower Gel, but is probably completely different.
Tramp is mossy and Grass is supposed to be...you've guessed it: grassy!
I think it's really cool that the fragrance of this products is called "the Ninja Fragrance", I mean, how mysterious is that!?
Though I won't be ordering a bottle for now, since I think I have more than 20 liters of Shower Gel to use up (I confess, I'm an addict *blush*), I might buy a small bottle in a few months, to feed my curiosity!

Ingredients:
Water, (Aqua), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Cocoamphoacatatae, Fresh Wheatgrass Juice (Triticum vulgare), Lauryl Betaine, Chlorophyllin Water (CL 75810, Aqua), Perfume, Propylene Glycol, Sandalwood Oil (santalum austro-caledonicum vieill and Fusanus spicatus), Bergamot Oil (Citrus Aurantirum bergamia), Neroli Oil (Citrus Aurantium amara), Fine Sea Salt, *Coumarin, *Geraniol, *Limonene, *Linalool, Methylparaben.
*Occurs naturally in essential oils.

Lush UK website description:
Now that the wheater's improving, it's time to start indulging. This new shower Gel is made with our new Ninja fragrance, antioxidant wheatgrass juice, and citrus oils to bring sunshine to your days again. Lather up and inhale the deep scent of freshly mown lawns. Keep firmly on the Grass.

Prizes: 100g = 4,45 pounds , 250g = 8,75 pounds and 500 = 15,95 pounds.

*Glorious Mud Body Mask

Since I'm a sucker for anything with honey (taste, smell or cosmetics with honey in it) I can't wait to try this.
I'll just have to wait until I have used up some more (Lush) products before I'll buy this.
A little while ago I had a few samples of Créme Anglaise, which has the same scent as Glorious Mud.
It smells like honey and vanilla and other yummy things :D :D :D.
Créme Anglaise was also very moisturising and had healing properties (but it didn't do anything for my face though).

Ingredients:
Rhassoul Mud, Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Cold-Pressed Sesame Oil (Sesamum indicum), Oloe Vera Extract (Aloe barbadensis), Perfume, Vanilla Absolute (Vanilla planifolia), Myrrh Resinoid (Commiphora myrrha), Sweet Orange Oil (Citrus sinensis), Benzyl Salicylate, *Coumarin, *Limonene.
*Occurs naturally in essential oils.

Lush UK website description:
Rub our dynamic, fizzy cube of rhassoul mud all over your body to cover and cleanse. The oloe vera extract is soothing and the mix of sesame and vanilla will moisturise. Mask your whole body for smooth, soft skin that smells just like the delectable Crème Anglaise body lotion.

Prize: 3,95 pounds for 125g.

*Brimstone Body Scrub

I am a scrubbing maniac, so I like that Lush has created a new scrub block.
The sugar scrubs I tried (Sugar Babe, A Sugar Scrub and Fairy Tail) were nice smelling and very scrubby (which is just the way I like it), but they sometimes turned into rocks after use :S.
Obviously it's impossible to scrub with rocks.
I like that this one isn't round but square and that it has sulphur in it (I've never tried a cosmetic product with sulphur in it before).
I'm curious as to wether the sulphur will have any effect on my skin and if it will improve the condition of it.
Sadly, some people say Brimstone stinks (as in bad smell not as in bad product) in their reviews so this product isn't for everyone.
I'll probably like the scent of Brimstone though, since I have a very broad taste when it comes to scents.

Ingredients:
Sodium Bicarbonate , Fine Sea Salt, Kaolin, Organic Cold Pressed Hemp Oil (Cannabis sativa), Citric Acid, Perfume, Lemongrass Oil (Cymbopogon citratus), Ylang Ylang Oil (Cananga odorata), Jasmine Absolute (Jasminum Grandiflorum), Sulphur Powder, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Salicylate, *Citral, *Limonene, *Linalool.
*Occurs naturally in essential oils.

Lush UK website description:
Don't worry; the apocalypse isn't coming just yet. Brimstone is a deeply fragrant, hardcore body scrub, with natural sulphur to condition the skin and keep the body clear. The cleansing China clay, exfoliating sea salt and calming hemp oils shall rain down vengeance on sins of the flesh and lead you back onto the path of righteousness.

Prize: 3,25 pounds for 140g.

*Charlotte's Island Body Tint

I was really looking forward to this, since I thought this was going to be a tanning lotion.
Since it isn't, I'm probably not going to buy it.
I'm not a foundation wearing type of girl, and a paint on bronzer is just too much fuss for me.
I don't like to have a tan that can be rubbed or washed off and I'm scared of Charlotte Island giving me embarrassing moments, like:
-walking through the rain and have streams of bronzer run down my face.
-forgetting to "tan" som spots and be spotty because of it without noticing it
-someone where wearing white touching my skin, and the tan will come of and rub on their clothes *is horrified*.
Needless to say, this product is not for me (though I will ask for a sample with me next order, since I'm terribly curious).
It has been said by some that this product smells like chocolate (that's the cocoa butter) and fruit, and Lush has said that Charlotte's Island doesn't come off in the rain, but it does come of when you rub it.

Ingredients:
Organic Lemon Infusion (Citrus limonum), Fairtrade Organic Cocoa Butter (Theobroma cacao), Orgainc Aloe Vera Gel (Aloe barbadensis), Stearic Acid, Organic Cold Pressed Avocado Oil (Persea gratissima), Glycerine, Freshly Juiced Papaya (Carica papaya), Triethanolamine, Chamomile Blue Oil (Matricaria chamomilla), Labdanum Resinoid (Cistus ladaniferus), Oakmoss Absolute (Evernia prunastri), Seaweed Absolute (Fucus vesiculosus), Violet Leaf Absolute (Viola odorata), Fresh Organic Lemon Juice (Citrus limonum), Organic Cold Pressed Wheatgerm Oil (Triticum vulgare), Organic Cold Pressed Evening Primrose Oil (Oenothera biennis), Cetearyl Alcohol, Benzyl Benzoate, Perfume, Colour 77491, Colour 77492, Colour 77499, Colour 77007, Propylparaben.

Lush Uk website description:
Our new bronzing body tint helps you to build a healthy glow without having to subject your skin to excessive sunlight. We've made it with organic lemon infusion, organic oils and cocoa butter to brighten and hydrate the skin.
Just smooth it on your white bits for a subtle tan; inhale the fruity fragrance and you'll feel like you've been sunning yourself on a tropical island.

Prizes : 100g = 4,95 pounds and 250g = 9,95 pounds.

*Tokens To The Forests Gods Sauna Tabs

When I first read about this one, I thought: "Not another toner tab!
But I changed my mind after I read the ingredient list.
To me it seems like this one would be seriously citrusy and that's just lovely.
I would like some (literally) in your face citrus wafting up my nose and reviving my skin.
Therefore this one definitely will take up a spot on my wish list.

Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Perfume, *Limonene, Grapefruit Oil (Citrus paradisi), Sweet Orange Oil (Citrus sinensis), Sweet Wild Orange Oil (Citrus sinensis), Neroli Oil (Citrus amara), Gardenia Extract (Gardenia jasminoides), *Citral, *Linalool, Colour 61570.

*Stepping Stone Foot scrub

Yay, a foot scrub!
My footsies are in desperate need of a foot scrub :(.
I used to have a great pumice stone that worked very well, but I recently replaced it with one that really kind of sucks :S.
That's why this one would really come in handy.
First I would soak in the tub or take a nice shower.
Then I would scrub my feet like crazy with this Stepping Stone and rinse it off.
To finish, I would put Pied the Pepper on my feet to keep them soft (and I like Pied the Pepper much better than Fairtrade Foot Lotion), though Dream Cream also works great as a hydrating foot cream, and a fruity Body Butter (like from The Body Shop) would also be really nice, because it would match with the fruity smell (citrus to the third) of Stepping Stone Foot Scrub.

Ingredients:
Sodium Bicarbonate, Pumice Powder, Citric Acid, Organic Cold Pressed Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia chinensis), Fine Sea Salt, Cocoa Butter (Theobroma cacao), Lemongrass Oil (Cymbopogon citratus), Gardenia Extract (Gardenia jasminoides), Lemon Oil (Citrus limonum), Lime Oil (Citrus aurantifolia), Lycopodium Powder, *Citral, *Geraniol, *Citronellol, *Limonene, *Linalool, Perfume, Colour 42090.
*Occurs naturally in essential oils.

Lush UK website description:
You've Been Mangoed fragrance and punishing pumice to scrub away the rigours of life.
Jojoba oil will moisturise dry skin without leaving them greasy and sea salt will treat them to plentiful minerals. Put your feet up and save your soles.

Prize: 2,75 pounds for 65 g (1 block).

*Keep It Fluffy Bath Ballistic

This one comes in two different versions, a purple one and a orange one.
I have the purple one and it smells delish!
Though I have never smelled the Bnever perfume called "Keep It Fluffy" , I have smelled the soap, which smells really flowery and a bit sweet.
It smells rather pleasant but the scent is also a bit on the heavy side, so I think the Ballistic smells a better.
It smells sweet and flowery and the smell puts a smile on my face.
My mom though it's fragrance was so amazing she wanted to steal it from me (another Lush addict in the making muhahaha :D ).
She didn't get it, since I haven't tried one of these, though I might get her one if I like this one enough in the bath!

Ingredients:
Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Perfume, Cocamide DEA, Vanilla Absolute (Vanilla planifolia), Jasmine Absolute (Jasminum grandiflorum, Ylang Ylang Oil (Cananga odorata), Lemongrass Oil (Cymbopogon citratus), Titanium Dioxide, *Citral, *Coumarin, Hydroxycitronellal, Colour 17200, Colour 42090.
*Occurs naturally in essential oils.

Lush UK website description:
The newest member of our fabulous fizzers is a vanilla and jasmine scented wonder-bomb to wrap you in fluffy. You might recognise the fragrance form B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful. As Helen says: keep it fun, keep it fragrant, keet it fluffy.

Prize: 2,25 pounds per ballistic.

*Lovely Jubblies Breast Cream

Like Charlottes Island, Lovely Jubblies is another product that I won't be buying.
The reason for not buying Lovely Jubblies is because I simply do not need it.
This cream is for moisturising your neck, cleavage and boobies and to keep it al firm.
Since those places of my body are as firm as it gets I really don't need it.
If it smelled great I probably would have bought it any how, but since it smells like orange blossom I think I'll pass on this one.
I'll probably ask for a sample with my next order anyway, since I'm too curious about anything Lush, even if it's a product I don't need and probably won't even like.
Silly me!

Ingredients:
Meadowsweet Infusion (spiraea ulmaria), Fresh Rose Infusion (Rosa damascena), Organic Colf Presses Almond Oil (Prunus dulcis), Cocoa Butter (Theobroma cacao), Organic Cold Pressed Jojoba Oil (Simmondisa chinensis), Stearic Acid, Glycerine, Organic Cold Presses Evening Primrose Oil (Oenothera biennis), Organic Cold Pressed Avocado Oil (Persea gratissima), Orange Blossom Honey (Citrus aurantium amara), Triethanolamine, Lemongrass Oil (Cymbopogon flexuosus), Ylang Ylang Oil (Cananga odorata), Jasmine Absolute (Jaskinum grandiflorum), Tiger Lily Petals (Lilium tigrinum), Beeswax (Cera alba), Cetearyl Alcohol, *Citral, *Geraniol, Benzyl Salicylate, Benzyl Alcohol, *Limonene, *Linalool, Perfume.
*Occurs naturally in essential oils.
This one isn't vegan because it contains beeswax. It is however, vegetarian!

Lush UK website description:
We've developed a cream to keep your bits firm and supple. This blend of cold-pressed, organic oils can keep your knockers, decolletage, stomach and bottom in top nick. The tightening action of meadowsweet and the fragrant, floral boo-kay of orange blossom and rose will give you the loveliest jubblies in town. Cushdy!

Prize: 14,95 pounds for a 100g pot. This is rather expensive, but it probably has a great tightening/firming effect. (If I like the smell I'll consider buying it anyway, there are always bits of your body that could be tighter ;) .)

*R&B (Revive and Balance) Hair Moisturiser

This product seems really tempting and I think I might get this for the ends of my hair.
I have very healthy, extremely fine hair, that gets greasy easily, so I don't need this product on my roots or on the length of my hair.
I do tend to get split ends because I dye my hair with very cheap hair dye (less than 2 euro's a package) that is really rough on my ends.
Normally I use H'San Wen Hua for restoring my split ends, but R&B might work even better.
I guess this is another product I would like to get a sample of.
Too bad this one also smells like orange blossom.
I hope I like it nevertheless.

Ingredients:
Oat Milk (Avena sativa), Glycerine, Organic Avocado Butter (Persea gratissima), Fair for Life Olive Oil, Glyceryl Stearate & PEG 100 Stearate, Perfume, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil (C0c0s nucifera), Organic Cold Pressed Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia chinensis), bay Oil (Pimenta racemosa), Orange Blossom Absolute (Citrus aurantium amara), Jasmine Absolute (Jasminum grandiflorum), Cupuacu Butter (Theobroma grandiflorum), Candelilla Wax (Euphorbia cerifera), Benzyl Alcohol, Phenoxyethanol, *Benzyl Salicylate, *Eugeniol, *Geraniol, *Isoeugeniol, *Benzyl Benzoate, *Farnesol, *Limonene, *Linalool.
*Occurs naturally in essential oils.

Lush UK Website description:
Tame your mane with some smooth R&B stylings. The tropical butters and candelilla wax will help to moisturise and control frizzy, flyaway hair, but R&B works to soothe dry scalps, too, with calming oat milk. And once you smell the orange blossom, your hair well and truly get its groove back.

Prize: 9,95 pounds for 100g (cheaper than the Lovely Jubblies and I've read R&B works amazing, s it's really worth the prize!!!).

*Ultrabalm (Lubrication For The Nation)

I've heard rumours about a vaseline like products coming from the Lush factory, and here it finally is!!!
It's just like vaseline, only without the petroleum and with only natural ingredients (it's even vegan).
You can use it for all sorts of things, for example as:
-perfume enhancer (though I don't really understand how)
-hair dye barrier (put it on your hairline when you dye or henna your hair)
-lubrication (?)
-skin barrier (it locks the mositure in)
-eyebrow tamer (instead of eyebrow wax or gel)
-invisible mascara (looking forward to using this as mascara)
-lip balm (speaks fir itself)
-cuticle balm (when you are out of lemony flutter)
-dry skin moisturiser (as said before, it locks in the moisture and protects your dry skin)
I'm keen on trying this and will order a tin in a few months.
I also have a big pot of vaseline, but I never use it since it's junk, so with this new invention I can finally chuck my pot of vaseline *cheers*.

Ingredients:
Organic Cold-Pressed jojoba Oil (Simmondsia chinensis), Candelilla Wax (Euphorbia cerifera), Rose Wax (Rosa Damascena).

Lush UK website description:
Ultrabalm is bringing petroleum-free lubrication to the nation. This moisturising balm is made with plant waxes and nothing else. No petroleum-jelly, no mineral oils, just natural goodness. Our mix of candelilla wax and jojoba oil is a vegan alternative to beeswax; it creates a protective barrier on the ski and locks in moisture, while rose wax soothes irritations. You can apply the balm to scuffs and scrapes to relieve discomfort, use it as a barrier cream when apllying henna, or even use it as a lip balm. There's nothing crude about our lube.

Prize: 7,50 pounds for 45g. This is kind of expensive, but when you remember what you can do with it, it's rather cheap.
I think this will be nice for all sorts of things, easy lipbalm, dry spots balm, to use on scratches made by my cat, etc.

These are all the new products available at the moment.
When I order them and have used them I will write a review, but for now you'll have to tets it yourself!

Hope you all had a great saturday,

Freya

Eyeko

I've been wanting to try out make-up by brand Eyeko for over a year, and now I have finally placed an order :D.

Eyeko has manga inspired make-up that looks really cute.
And the products are also said to be really good, even though they are rather cheap!

Things I've ordered:

*A set of 5 nail polishes for the price of 4. They cost me 15 euros, so the polishes are 3 euros per polish which isn't very expensive. Normally the polishes cost 4 euros each.

The polishes in this set are (colour descriptions are from the Eyeko site):
-Vintage: The only green to be seen in! Stay on trend with this lush jade hue.
-Cosmic: Unique midnight black shade loaded with multi-coloured glitters like fireworks in a night sky!
-Nude: Go au naturel with just one coat of pinky-beige or layer op for a mannequin mani.
-Indigo: Keep nails short and blunt to nail this shimmery, cool midnight blue like Sophie Dahl.
-Lilac: Dip your toe into the pastel trend for sweet nails with an edge as seen on Kelly Osbourne.

These 5 colours are all brought back from the old range, by popular demand.
Since I wanted all of these colours (except for the nude) I bought this set, so I essentially get the nude for free :D.
I'm not much of a nude person.
I like colours, or black, and shimmers and flashy effects, pretty much everything but white and nude ;).

There is also another nail polish set, which I didn't buy:

*Eyeko Magic Set:

The Magic Set contains the Magic Mascara and the Magic Liquid Eyeliner.
Normally, the mascara costs 10 euros and the eye liner costs 6 euros.
As a set they cost 11 euros, so I save 5 euros.

The Magic Mascara is supposed to give your lashes dramatic volume, length and curl and is supposed to be very long lasting.
I guess we'll see if that's true when I receive my order.

The Magic Liquid Eyeliner really is some kind of magic, and I've been dying to try this one.
It is a clear liquid eyeliner which you just dip in a eye shadow of your choosing so you can have eye liner in any colour you want and that matches with your eye shadow.
After use you just wipe it clean and put the brush back in the pot.
Isn't it amazing!?

*Last, but not least, I bought the Vampira nail polish, a glossy black nail polish with blood red shimmer (it's more of a glitter though).

I took this NOTD from a blog called Laquerized (amazing blog you need to visit!!!)

Amazing polish huh!?

I'm also supposed to get a Fat Balm in Raspberry for free:

It's the one in the middle.

This whole order cost me 30 euros.
I was able to get free shipping, but I'm always afraid my package will get lost, so I decided to get recorded shipping, which cost me 4 euros.

So, for 34 euros I get 6 nail polishes, 1 mascara, 1 magic eye liner and one lip balm, and recorder postage.
I say that's not a bad deal at all!

I can't wait for my package to arrive, and when it has I will review the products.

What do you think of Eyeko?
Have you ever tried any of their products?
