New Books :D

I recently received some books from my mom as my birthday gift and the books I got were awesome (they were bound to be since I chose them myself, but anyway...).

I got the 10th book in the Sookie Stackhouse series (you know, the books the tv-show True Blood was based on): "Dead In The Family".

Since I'm a big fan of the Sookie Stackhouse books, I just had to have this one.
I couldn't bring myself to wait a few months for a prize reduction.
I started reading in it yesterday and, not surprisingly, I love this one just as much as the previous nine books.
It's as raw, thrilling, mysterious and sexy as I expected, and though it isn't a very light read, it still reads easily because it grabs your attention and it won't let go.
I'll probably finish it in a couple of days and be sad I'm going to have to wait for the next one.

I also got the fifth book in the Twilight series "The Short Second Life Of Bree Tanner".

I was so excited when I heard that another Twilight book was released, since I loved the other four and I read that there weren't going to be any more Twilight books.
Lucky for me (and all the other Twilight fans out there) she decided to write another one, though this time from a different perspective.
The Short Second Life Of Bree Tanner isn't mainly about Bella, this story is seen through the eyes of Bree Tanner, one of the vampires who fought alongside the Volturi and against Bella, The Cullens and their friends and associates.

I haven't read this one yet but it's sure to be breathtakingly thrilling, and I will probably read it all in one go.

Since I liked the Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris, I also wanted to read her other book series, so I ordered "Real Murders", the first "Aurora Teagarden" book.

This series is about a female librarian called Aurora Teagarden ( LOVE the name btw) that likes to solve fake murder cases as a hobby along with the other people at her "murder club".
When people from her murder club get murdered one by one she has to solve "real murders" to find out who the murderer is.
It is a story that will most definitely intrigue me, like Charlaine Harris books do best and I can't wait to start reading.

And last, but not least, I got "Alice In Wonderland and Through The Looking Glass" by Lewis Carroll.

I am ashamed to say I've never read it completely and since Tim Burton has made a pretty cool move about it (that I still need to see), I thought it was about time I read the original story, so now I can :D.
Since childhood I've always found Alice In Wonderland to be a most magical story and I also like the Mad Tea Party scents by BPAL which are based on Alice In Wonderland.
In other words, it was always one of my fave childhood stories and now I actually own it and I'll be able to read it in English instead of Dutch.
Now all I need is the new movie by Tim Burton :D.

So, what do you think?
Have you read any of these or are they on your list?
Have a nice weekend,

Freya

My Eyeko Package :D

I received my Eyeke Packaage 2 weeks ago :D.
It was well packaged and everything looked awesome.
There was just one problem, they forgot to include some products that I ordered!
I ordered the Magic Set (that's the Magic Mascara + the Magic Eye Liner).
So I contacted them saying some products were missing, and the next day I got an email from Eyeko saying that they were sorry, they will send me the missing items, and if I would let them know when the package has arrived.
I think their customer service is really good.

Anyway, here's what I got:

From left to right:
-Cosmic Polish
-Indigo Polish
-Lilac Polish
-Nude Polisj
-Vampira Polish
-Vintage Polish
-Raspberry Fat Balm

I haven't tried the nail polishes yet, but I think they look good.
The Raspberry Fatbalm I did try, and I loved it!
It smells very nice, like raspberries and makes my lips a natural dan bit dark raspberry colour.
The Fat Balm also hydrates my lips well, and I really had not expected that.

The Fat Balm I got for free, but when I've used it up I think I will order a new one, and possibly the strawberry one as well!

I will do a real review (with LOTD/swatch) later.
And I will let you know when I receive the Magic Set.

What do you think of Eyeko?

Forum Party Package Lush!

Yesterday, my Lush package with Forum Party products arrived :D!!!
I was really excited and couldn't wait to open it.
The package was complete (nothing was missing) and the products looked and smelled great!

The contents of my package:
2X the Comforter SG (Forum Party Product)
1X Aura Suavis SG (Forum Party Product)
1X B Electro SG (Forum Party Product)
1X Rub Rub Rub SG
4X You Snap The Whip Body Butter (Which I obviously forgot to include in the pics.)
2X Free Body Butter tins (Which I forgot to photograph as well.)
1X Keep It Fluffy Bath Ballistic (the purple one, not the orange)

I Also got 3 free mini ballistics: Think Pink, Big Blue (only mini :P ) and Blackberry Bath Bomb, and a Lush Times.

The Comforter SG:

It smells just like You Snap The Whip.
It smell like berries and a bit of herbs.
It's very sweet and comforting, and it makes me happy.

B Electro SG:

It's a unique and strange smell. I smell citrus fruits and flowers, but also a bit of herbs and candy.
I'm curious to how it will smell when I actually use it, since I've only smelled it in the bottle.

Rub Rub Rub SG:

I already knew this SG, since I have used up a whole 500g bottle before.
It has the sakura smell: fresh, citrus, flowery, fizzy.
I love it!
It has a scrub in it though it's not a course scrub.
The Sea Salt in this SG/scrub makes your skin smooth and very soft!

Aura Suavis SG:

Hmmm, I've never smelled anything like this before!
It's minty, yet flowery and herbal and all sorts of things.
It reminds me a bit of Rehab Shampo (Lush) and Badass SG (Lush).
It's a fizzy, herbal flowery, and something else SG.

The Ballistics:

From left to right: Keep It Fluffy (purple), Think Pink, Big blue, Blackberry Bath Bomb.

I am really happy with all my products :D.
I took a bath last night with 2 Blackberry Bath Bombs, and I tested the Comforter SG a bit.

I'll take some pics of the missing products and add them later.

So, what do you think of the products?
