Offical Lush Description: Our beautiful rose and oregano soap gets its name from a 1931 Hollywood film about a soap company. The son advertised a soap that didn't exist and the demand was so high, the dad had to make it. It sounds like typical Lush, except for the advertising part. Sue from Chelmsford and Dawn from Cambridge had been asked for an oregano soap by nurses, because they'd heard that oregano kills MRSA bacteria. (University of the West of England 2008). This lovely soap has been like gold dust; we adore its translucent loveliness, its scent and its effective cleansing properties.

This is one of my favourite soaps!
It smells like oregano and rose and a bit of honey.
Like you could eat it, but definitely not like pizza.
To me it smells like sweet flowers (that's the rose and honey) with a lot of oregano.
The resulting scent is enchanting!
I happen to like rose, and love honey and especially oregano.
It's actually my favourite herb.

I really like that it gets rid of dirt and kills bacteria very well.
The cleansing effect and the scent make that I feel really clean afterwards and relieves me of fears about bacteria.

Because it kills bacteria so well it's a great soap for in the bathroom, by the toilet sink or in the kitchen.
You could also use it in the shower offcourse.
I haven't used it in the shower myself, but I think it would be mind blowing!

13 soaps lathers well but there isn't a lot of foam.
It isn't extremely drying or hydrating.
I hydrates just as well as other Lush glycerine soaps.
After a while the soap loses its colour and turnes white, but the scent stays :D.
After washing my hands with this soap, the scent stays on my skin for hours (not exaggerating) and I keep smelling my skin.
It's just one of my favourite scents and smelling it makes me happy :D.

I really should get some more of this soap!

(And you should try it too!)
